This course explores effective literacy teaching strategies for culturally and linguistically diverse adolescents. The main focus is on literacy development and improving literacy outcomes of English language learners (ELL) and First Nations, Métis, and Inuit (FNMI) students. Sections may be offered in a Cost Recovery format at an increased rate of fee assessment; refer to the Fees Payment Guide in the University Regulations and Information for Students section of the Calendar. Restricted to students in AAL Certificate program.
