About
Anna Olenenko serves as the Research Assistant in the Kule Folklore Center and is doing her PhD in the Media and Cultural Studies program at the MLCS Department, University of Alberta. Anna got her previous degrees in Zaporizhzhia National University, Ukraine. Her research interests include environmental history of the steppes and the reflection of nature transformation in the culture. She has a book chapter in New ecological order. Development and the transformation of nature in Eastern Europe (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2022) (in co-author with Stefan Dorondel) and other publications.
