Clinical preceptor for the Experiential Education course PHARM 556 Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience Part 3 Selective in Direct Patient Care, through University of Alberta's Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. This 8-week (320 hour) structured practical learning experience will allow students to apply and integrate knowledge and skills in a patient care setting. Students will develop practical knowledge necessary for the professional role of pharmacists as care providers, communicators, scholars, educators, collaborators, advocates, leaders and managers. Students are expected to step into the role of a pharmacist under the guidance of their pharmacist preceptors.
