Overview
About
Dr. Allison Edwards completed her Bachelor of Science with Honors in Physiology at the University of Alberta. She continued her medical training at the University of Alberta completing medical school and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Edmonton. She then completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Calgary.
Dr. Edwards works as an Obstetrician Gynecologist and Urogynecologist at the Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Albert, Alberta. She is currently appointed as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry. She coordinates the Obstetrics and Gynecology core clerkship rotation at the Sturgeon Community Hospital in conjunction with Dr. M. Brad Sullivan. Her research is focused in medical education and optimizing the perioperative care of gynecologic surgical patients.
