Research

I am a dedicated researcher and knowledge mobilization specialist with expertise in adapted physical activity, research partnerships, and integrated knowledge translation (IKT). My work is driven by a commitment to co-production and research partner engagement, ensuring research leads to real-world impact.

I collaborate with diverse research partners to develop evidence-informed evaluation tools and frameworks that enhance participation in adapted sport, physical activity, and health programs. My research integrates partnership evaluation, disability-focused competency development, and implementation science, ensuring that knowledge is both generated and applied effectively.

Courses

KRLS 207 - Adapted Physical Activity and Leisure for Diverse Populations

An introduction to research, theory and practice pertaining to participation in physical activity and leisure by persons with impairments. The course explores the intersection of social influences and personal interests on participation in active lifestyles. Credit will be granted for only one of KRLS 207 or PERLS 207.
