Research

Main interests include mixed methods research, decolonizing pedagogy, intersectionality, BIPOC LGBTQ mental and physical health disparities, sexual and gender health, technological interventions, undocumented immigrant mental health, race-based traumatic stress, clinical service provision in forensic settings (criminal procedure law patients and sex offender treatment). Theoretical orientation: Integrative - Liberation psychology, Multicultural and Culturally Responsive Approaches
