About

Caitlin is a Family Physician at the Northeast Community Health Centre, where she completed her residency training under Dr. Korownyk. She is an Assistant Professor with the PEER team in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Alberta. She started working with the PEER team in 2013 as a Research Assistant, and since went on to complete her MSc with Drs Allan and Garrison, and then on to medicine. She is passionate about evidence-based medicine, and teaching clinicians at all stages of their careers about evidence-based medicine. She regularly contributes to Tools for Practice (one page evidence summaries), PEER Guidelines and other knowledge translation activities, including presenting at regional and national conferences. Outside of work, Caitlin spends her time with her husband and her toddler!
