Andrea leads the Internal Engagement & Events (IE&E) portfolio in the Department of Medicine, overseeing a high-performing team responsible for learning events, internal communications, and culture-building initiatives across 14 divisions. With deep expertise in event strategy, stakeholder engagement, and operational planning, she works closely with department leadership, faculty, and national partners to deliver everything from accredited academic updates to large-scale conferences and community events.

She is a key driver behind initiatives focused on workplace culture, wellness, and professional development, including staff retreats, engagement forums, and national conferences such as ACCADA (Association of Canadian Clinical Academic Department Administrators). Andrea is known for her pragmatic leadership style, strong institutional knowledge, and ability to translate big-picture strategy into well-executed, human-centred experiences.
