About
I am a clinical professor in the Department of Medicine working in Infectious Diseases and General Internal Medicine. I have special interests in clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows. I also am involved in quality improvement work relating to improving patient care. To that end I run workshops for trainees and staff on effective structured patient handovers.

Teaching
Most of my teaching occurs on the wards, with direct patient care. I teach to the level of the trainee, and encourage them to be empathetic and thorough in their approach to the unwell patient. I feel that the most effective clinical training involves direct interactions with patients.
