Overview
About
Denise Young is Professor Emerita in the Department of Economics. Her BA (Economics and French) and MA (Economics) are from McMaster University. Her PhD is from the University of Toronto. She spent one year as a Lecturer at Trent University in Peterborough before joining the Department of Economics at the University of Alberta in 1989 where she worked full-time until Dec. 2015 and on a part-time basis until 2018. From July 1 2016 to June 30 2017, she served as Interim Academic Dean at St Joseph's College.
