About

I have 40 years of experience in healthcare administration, research and education. My areas of interest are the effective application of science and values to inform health policy, decisions, health care reform and informatics.  I specialize in the development and application of health technology assessment and innovation.  I am Adjunct Associate Professor at the Universities of Victoria and Calgary, Editor in Chief of Healthcare Management Forum and is work package lead for AGE-WELL, Canada’s technology and aging network. I lead the health care and service delivery challenge area of AGE-WELL.

Retired on Vancouver Island I enjoy long walks with a stick hitting a tiny ball around a field of green.
