About
Ellen Tam is a neuroscience student at the University of Alberta who is extremely passionate about innovation and the intersection of innovation and social development. As an STEM student who has been an avid member of the entrepreneurship community at the UofA, having been a part of the VCIC UofA undergraduate team in 2024 (won 3rd in nationals), a participant of the Experience Ventures program, conducting her own project ThermoBlocks at the Student innovation centre, and a volunteer at the Shack (a student maker space), she is excited to increase student engagement in the innovation opportunities offered at the university.
