About

Dr. Sabrina Eliason is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry. She is a Past-President of the Canadian Pediatric Society Section of Developmental Pediatrics and the current Program Director of Developmental Pediatrics at the University of Alberta. Dr. Eliason completed undergraduate studies in Economics and Biology at Queen's University in Kingston; medical school at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver; General Pediatrics residency at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon and Developmental Pediatrics sub-specialty residency at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in Edmonton. Her clinical expertise is in assessment and diagnosis of children and youth with neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions. 




Research

Dr. Eliason's academic interests are in clinical innovation and knowledge mobilization to optimize the quality and efficiency of health services and systems. Her work is focused on improving outcomes for children, youth and families experiencing disability.
