About
Dr. Eunice Chow is a Clinical Professor and Clinical Academic Dermatologist at the University of Alberta, based at the University Dermatology Centre within the Kaye Edmonton Clinic. Since completing her dermatology residency at the University of Alberta in 2011, she has been deeply involved in both clinical practice and medical education. Dr. Chow is a regular preceptor for dermatology residents and a lecturer at the University’s Academic Half Days, teaching a wide range of dermatological topics.
Previously serving as the Program Director for the Dermatology Residency Program until March 2023, Dr. Chow played a pivotal role in preparing the program for the Competence by Design curriculum. She currently leads the Patch Test Clinic and the Medical Hair Diseases Clinic and is part of the Multidisciplinary Cutaneous Tumour Group, specializing in pigmented lesions and melanoma.
Recognized for her contributions to patient care, Dr. Chow was honored as the "Dermatologist of the Year" in 2019 by the Canadian Skin Patient Alliance. Her clinical interests include general dermatology, allergic contact dermatitis, hair disorders, and skin cancer, and she remains passionate about advancing the field of medical dermatology and educating future generations of dermatologists.
Dr. Chow earned her medical degree from the University of British Columbia and has held a faculty appointment at the University of Alberta since 2012.
