Overview
About
Galiba Zahid is a Master’s student. Her research examines occupational segregation and wage differentials over time across industries. Galiba is a 2024-2025 fellow at the Consortium on Analytics for Data-Driven Decision-Making (CAnD3) at McGill University, and a recipient of the Canada Graduate Scholarships-Master’s program (CGSM), Alberta Graduate Excellence Award (AGES), and the 2024 Canadian Sociological Association Best Student Paper award.

Title of research: The Devaluation of Feminized Occupations in Canada, 1991-2021.
