Research
Guijiang Diao has diverse research interests, mainly focusing on the development of materials of the following three categories: (1) Ni-based superalloys towards higher strength and lower density with superior properties at elevated temperatures; (2) Al-Ti-based alloys, intermetallic compounds, and their composites with superior properties at elevated temperatures; (3) wear-resistant hardfacing overlays. The relevant specialties involving advanced characterization, friction and wear, corrosion and oxidation, etc., are adopted throughout the research.
