My interests include public health advocacy, healthy public policy, community mobilization, chronic disease prevention, publicity and public discourse. My areas of expertise include tobacco control, policy development, advocacy, mobilization, government relations and publicity strategies.

The majority of my work is applied directly to the development of healthy public policies and improved health outcomes at community, provincial and national levels. I am a strong proponent of the importance of translating knowledge into action.
