About

Background Information

Jacky completed his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2007. Prior to that, he completed his undergraduate degree in Engineering at the University of Calgary. Since graduation, his clinical work has been in the acute care setting. Jacky's main clinical area of interest is neuro rehab. In 2020 Jacky completed his Masters of Public Policy degree at the University of Calgary with a focus on health policy and social policy.

Courses

PTHER 524 - Professional Issues I

Introduction to physical therapy including theory and concepts of rehabilitation science. Content will include communication, professional ethics and conduct, disability issues, models of disablement, client centered principles and self reflection. A model of practice and clinical decision making will be presented.


PTHER 555 - Therapeutic Physical Agents

Introduction to the theory, evidence, and application of therapeutic physical agents in physical therapy. Prerequisite: PTHER 500 and 528.
