About
Dr. Jennifer Croden, MD, FRCPC is an Assistant Professor in the Division of at the University of Alberta. After receiving her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Alberta, she completed her Core Internal Medicine residency and Hematology subspecialty residency at the University of Alberta. She subsequently completed a Leukemia Fellowship at the esteemed MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Croden’s clinical research focuses on acute leukemias, myelodysplastic syndromes, and rare hematologic disorders, with a particular interest in optimizing treatment strategies and improving patient outcomes. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in high-impact scientific journals, including Leukemia, HemaSphere, Clinical Lymphoma Myeloma Leukemia, and Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, and has presented her work at international meetings such as the American Society of Hematology, European Hematology Association, and American Society of Clinical Oncology. Her contributions to the field have been recognized with multiple awards, including the MD Anderson Cancer Center’s “Clinical Fellow of the Year” (2025), the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis Editors’ Award (2023), and the University of Alberta’s Moshier Memorial Gold Medal (2019).
