About

I am a family physician and Associate Professor with the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Alberta. One of my roles in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (FoMD) is as the Program Innovation Lead for Digital Content Creation in the Learning Design Studio. I also have the pleasure of being the co-coordinator for the Foundations of Medicine block in Year 1 of the MD program, and am a clinical skills lead through the co-coordination of the Communications curriculum within the program. Outside of the FoMD, I am the Communications Committee Chair for the Canadian Association for Medical Education (CAME) and the Co-Chair of the Obesity Canada Education Action Team.
