My research is focused on the application of economics principles to the understanding and evaluation of healthcare policy and interventions.
I undertake applied projects with a range of partners from academic, not-for-profit and government organizations. My specific focus is on evaluations of interventions in palliative care or for people nearing the end of life. I also undertake evaluations across other clinical settings, with previous studies in maternal health, mental health and well-being, orthopedics and aging and frailty.
My methodological interests include the incorporation of equity concerns within economic evaluations and the use of routinely collected data for post-implementation evaluation of technologies.
