About

Dr. Kent K. Lee has been an educator in a variety of contexts including K-12 and adult education. He holds permanent teaching certifications from Alberta Education and the TESL Canada Federation (Professional Standard Three). As a teacher-educator, Kent teaches undergraduate and graduate-level courses related to teaching English as a second language (TESL). Kent is also an active member of the local TESL community where he volunteers on various boards and committees as well as participates regularly in professional learning and development events alongside other TESL practitioners. In his role as a researcher, Kent holds a pragmatic worldview and values partnerships with teachers and employs a variety of research methodologies to address a wide range of complex, practical issues in TESL.
