Research

My research has focused on the history of Gabriel Dumont using a new biographical lens. Through my work I explore the themes of kinship, homelands, leadership, identity and historical consciousness. I have also published on Métis adoption. My current research focus is as a collaborator on the SSHRC funded project The Métis of Pahonanis: Gathering Our History Project with Dr Allyson Stevenson.
