Current Role
Kristin supports multiple area-wide initiatives focused primarily on the development of academic program proposals, including the development of new programs and the renewal of existing programs.
Profile
Kristin previously assisted with the writing and preparation of research, grant and other proposals to support the activities of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that role, Kristin provided technical writing support to professors, graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, namely in the Nasseri School of Building Science and Engineering and the Hole School of Construction Engineering. She has also organized workshops and conferences that raise the profile of researchers in industry and in the broader research community.
Kristin has experience in various engineering roles that include mechanical system design for buildings, and robotics and automation in the manufacturing sector. She has also worked as a technical and policy analyst, where she contributed to numerous research projects in energy efficiency and renewable energy.
