About

I come to the University of Alberta from Denendeh, where I worked between 2017 and 2025 at Dechinta Centre for Research and Learning, co-developing and delivering Indigenous and community led research and educational programming in the Yukon, Nunuvut and the Northwest Territories. Prior to this, I completed my PhD in Political Science from the University of British Columbia on the unceded lands of the  xwməθkwəy̓əm, Skwxwú7mesh and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh nations. I completed a BA in Political Science and an MA in Cultural Social and Political Thought from the University of Victoria on the unceded lands of the Lək̓ʷəŋən  W̱SÁNEĆ peoples.
