About
Dr. Lee Green is currently appointed as Professor in the Department of Family Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry. He served as Chair 2012-2022. He is also Professor Emeritus (active) at the University of Michigan, where he is a member of the Department of Family Medicine and the Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation.
Research
Dr. Green's research focuses on applying cognitive and organizational science tools to primary care delivery systems, spread and scale of primary care transformation, care pathways, transitions of care, and health workforce policy. He led the team that pioneered the adaptation of Cognitive Task Analysis to primary care, and has led large-scale research on the Patient-Centered Medical Home model. Most of his work uses mixed-methods approaches.
