About
After graduating from medical school at the University of Alberta, Lawrence Cheung completed residencies in Internal Medicine, Respirology, and Critical Care. He later completed a Masters in Medical Education at the University of Dundee. In addition to clinical work as a physician in respirology and critical care medicine, he has been heavily involved in residency education throughout his career. His roles, past or present, have included Respirology Residency Program Director, Chair of the national Respirology Exam Board, accreditation surveyor of Canadian and international residency programs, and membership on various Royal College committees involving accreditation and assessment. Since January 2021, he has been Associate Dean, Postgraduate Medical Education, in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.Featured Publications
