About

Dr. Lillian Au is the Director - Faculty Development at the Department of Family Medicine.  She has worked closely with the MD Program as the Director - Longitudinal Themes and as the previous undergraduate program director.  Other educational endeavours include receiving a Masters in Health Sciences Education from the University of Alberta in 2021. 

She is excited to work with family physicians and clinical educators in delivering high value clinical experiences to our learners (medical students and family medicine residents).  Her VISION as Director - Faculty development is to build primary care through teaching excellence.   Her MISSION is to strive to provide useful and relevant teaching resources to our clinical teachers so they can mentor and educate our aspiring learners to become excellent family physicians.  Please email fmfacdev@ualberta.ca if you are a community family doctor interested in teaching or alternatively check out our faculty development section at the Dept. of Family Medicine website.
