Overview
About
I obtained my medical degree in the United Arab Emirates before completing my residency in Adult Neurology at the University of Alberta. I then completed a clinical/research fellowship at the University of Toronto at the Canadian Concussion Centre where I expanded on my interests in Concussion, Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS) and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE).
I am currently appointed as an Associate Clinical Professor in Neurology at the University of Alberta with a special interest in Concussion and Concussion-related syndromes and Headache Disorders. I have research interests in the field of Concussion.
I am currently the Residency Program Director for Adult Neurology and a board member of the Canadian Headache Society.

I am the Program Director for Adult Neurology. I am the faculty lead for the University of Alberta chapter of the Student Interest Group in Neurosciences (SIGN).
I am a passionate educator and love learning how to improve my own teaching.
