I am a respirologist and sleep physician who also works with people with neuromuscular diseases (e.g., muscular dystrophy) who need breathing support. I support the clinical and research mandate of the severe asthma clinic. My main areas of interest include sleep-disordered breathing, chronic ventilatory failure, and asthma; but my practice includes the full spectrum of respiratory and sleep medicine. This includes COPD, obstructive sleep apnea, pulmonary fibrosis, insomnia, and narcolepsy, amongst other conditions.
