About
I am interested in research and development in the area of public health informatics. Specifically, I am interested in research related to disease spread using agent based models including surge modeling for clinical care during outbreaks, crowdsourcing and crowd informing concepts, anomaly detection algorithms to support bio-surveillance of various disease targets, hand-held based surveillance and reporting, intelligence mining from historical health data specifically laboratory data, and knowledge integration / mining of multiple domains including human, animal and environmental health to produce situation based intelligence.
