Shaba Qureshi

About

Shaba has been an Event Coordinator with the Department of Medicine at the University of Alberta since 2023.

She brings almost 20 years of experience planning and managing events ranging from small meetings to large corporate conferences, celebration dinners, galas, team-building activities, and academic divisional and departmental events.

Her attention to detail and organizational skills help ensure events are delivered seamlessly from planning through execution.

As the team's back-up Internal Engagement Coordinator, Shaba also supports the Department's communications portfolio. Her experience includes updating web pages, drafting and distributing memos, and editing print and online materials. Her combination of event management and communications expertise allows her to support projects from both a logistical and communications perspective.

An advocate of lifelong learning, Shaba recently completed the Leading With Influence course through the University of Alberta.
