Dr. Oluseyi Oladele (Olu) is a family physician with a focused practice in addiction medicine, delivering care primarily through virtual platforms. He supports patients across Alberta in accessing opioid agonist therapy and related services, with a commitment to clinical excellence and system innovation.
He teaches and mentors medical learners in various settings and is affiliated with the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Alberta. His broader professional interests include health system improvement, medical education, and governance. He has served in regulatory and advisory roles focused on quality and physician development.
Olu is also exploring the promise and limitations of artificial intelligence in healthcare. He has completed coursework in AI applications for medicine and is currently pursuing a certificate to deepen his knowledge in this evolving space.
When he’s not working, Olu enjoys life with his wife and three children, often in the midst of a project, a good conversation, or an unexpected adventure.
