FOLK 204 - Forms of Folklore
Contemporary approaches to folklore. May include a fieldwork component. Note: Not to be taken by students with credit in MLCS 204.
FOLK 205 - History of Folklore Studies
History, concepts, and practices of folklore. Note: Not to be taken by students with credit in MLCS 205.
SLAV 204 - Slavic Folklore and Mythology
Introductory course covering pre-Christian deities and neo-paganism, legends and lower mythology, folktales and folk songs, and the use of folklore in literature, film, and music. Taught in English. This course will not fulfill the Language Other Than English requirement of the BA.
