Overview

About

Is mise Ruairí Ó Donnáin. My name is Rory Donnan and I am a visiting tutor from the North of Ireland. I am a qualified primary school teacher with a specialism in Irish medium education. I also hold a masters in Digital Business and Management through the medium of Irish. I have a range of interests within the Irish Language and am proud to say that it is not only my professional life that functions through the medium of Irish but also my social life. Through my work as an "Oifigeach Forbartha Gaeilge" (Irish Language Development Officer) for my local community at home, I have the privilege of working on behalf of the community to advance the Irish language and culture within the area through classes, events, projects and shared spaces for all. I look forward to working with the students here who wish to undertake the modules I will be teaching.

Teaching

I am a qualified Primary School teacher who graduated with a 2:1 in Primary Education with Celtic Studies. I have a range of experience teaching in Nursery, Primary and Post Primary Settings from I graduated in Summer 2021. In addition to my teaching experience within the classroom I have a wealth of experience in teaching adult learners from Beginner to advanced & exam level.
