Dr. Fox was born in Montreal and raised in the Ottawa Valley. He attended medical school at University of Toronto and then an internship at the Grey Nuns Hospital followed by neurosurgical residency at the University of Alberta. Fellowship training in spinal surgery followed in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Since then, he has been a staff neurosurgeon at University of Alberta, since 1998. His areas of interest include spinal surgery, trauma,Teaching, and research in spinal cord injury.
