As an event coordinator, Becky’s role involves seamlessly organizing and managing a variety of academic divisional and departmental events. She is responsible for planning and executing events such as annual updates, celebration dinners, and divisional grand rounds. Her job includes everything from coordinating logistics and handling budgets to liaising with vendors and ensuring all details are meticulously arranged.

Becky has earned a reputation as the Department's "Master of Rounds." She oversees the planning and coordination of many divisional and departmental Grand Rounds, continually refining processes and finding new ways to improve the experience for organizers, speakers, and attendees. She has also successfully obtained accreditation for all of these rounds.

With almost 10 years in the Department of Medicine, Becky has an above average familiarity with the University’s policies and procedures. Her ongoing commitment and service to the Department was recently recognized as she was nominated for the J. Charles ‘Chuck’ Morrison Award for Administrative Support Staff in 2026.
