Research

Our lab investigates the complex mechanisms driving tumor progression and resistance to immunotherapy, with a primary focus on the tumor microenvironment (TME) in aggressive cancers like glioblastoma. We employ cutting-edge techniques, including CRISPR screening and multi-omics approaches, to uncover critical cellular and molecular interactions within the TME. Specifically, we examine the role of myeloid cells, such as microglia and macrophages, in modulating immune responses and therapeutic resistance. By unraveling the heterogeneity within cancer cell clones and immune populations, we aim to identify novel therapeutic targets and develop tailored immunotherapy strategies that overcome the limitations of current treatments.
