NURS 125 - Nursing Practice - Health Assessment
The focus is on the health assessment of the adult, and expected health assessment findings throughout the lifespan. The course provides a beginning foundation of the nursing process as framework for developing assessment skills and use of clinical technologies necessary for determining client health status and provision of care. Note: Available only to nursing students in the Collaborative Program and Bilingual Program. Prerequisites for Collaborative Program students: INT D 120, NURS 106 (or NURS 140 and NURS 150), and NURS 120; Corequisite: NURS 124. Prerequisites for Bilingual Program students: ANATE 140, MICRE 133.
NURS 150 - Physiology
An introduction to human physiology. Available to all students. Corequisite: NURS 140. Nursing students must achieve a minimum grade of C+ in order to progress in the program. Note: In Fall term, this course is not open to students currently in a Nursing program with the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Alberta. These students must take courses as outlined in the Course Sequence for their program in the University Calendar. In other terms, this course is open to all students, including those currently in a Nursing program with the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Alberta.
NURS 335 - Nursing Practice - Health Assessment
