About

Sharon has over 20 years of international experience working in academia. She uses her knowledge of the Canadian grant funding landscape to support researchers at the University of Alberta in securing research funding. Using her grant writing expertise and research program administration experience, Sharon assists researchers in the Faculty of Engineering in finding sponsor, partner, and collaboration opportunities.

Sharon began her academic career in 2002 at the University of Gloucestershire in Cheltenham, UK. She moved to Edmonton in 2018 and became the Research Communications Coordinator for UofA's Transportation Engineering research group. She has just joined the Research Partner Network as a specialist for researchers across the faculty.
