DRAMA 101 - Introduction to Theatre Art
The origins and development of theatre art; introduction to theatre aesthetics. Requires payment of additional student instructional support fees. DRAMA 103 - Critical Analysis of Playtexts
Analysis of playtexts in reference to the specific challenges faced by actors, directors, designers, and dramaturgs. Note: Restricted to BA Drama Majors, BA (Honors) Drama students, and BEd (Secondary) Drama majors, or admission by consent of Department based on successful completion of Drama 30 or equivalent. Not to be taken by students with credit in DRAMA 102.

The evolution of Modernism in the dramatic text, performance, and staging practices from the early 19th century to Epic Theatre. Note: Required for BA Drama Majors and BA (Honors) Drama students.
