About

Christian Pak (MA, Hong Kong, 2022) is appointed to the position of Project Manager for the Consortium for Distributed and Passive Sensing of the Department of Physics, where his responsibilities include assistance with project administrative duties, project deliverables, events coordination, and strategic development works for the Consortium.

He is also a researcher in East Asian Studies and Comparative Literature.  His main research interest lies in mediaeval Chinese (220-979) literature and holds a subsidiary interest is classical Chinese fiction.

Research

Under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Fried, my thesis is in conjunction between the poetry of Chen Zi'ang (fl. ca. 658–699), an Early Tang poet, with Daoism. My thesis analyses Chen Zi'ang's Daoist' sensibility throughout his literary writings.
