This position has an initial appointment of 4 months. The salary will be commensurate with experience in accordance with the Academic Teaching Staff Agreement.
Location - Work primarily takes place at Augustana Campus, Camrose.

Working for the Augustana Faculty
The Augustana Faculty of the University of Alberta is located on Treaty Six territory in the City of Camrose, 90 kilometres southeast of Edmonton. Embedded in rural Alberta, the campus is home to approximately 900 students and offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs offered by the U of A's Augustana Faculty and the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, respectively.
Augustana Campus provides a distinctive learning experience characterized by close connections between students, staff and faculty and numerous opportunities for student participation in athletics, clubs and campus organizations. Position
The Integrative Biology program at the Augustana Faculty has an ATS term instructor teaching vacancy for the Winter 2026 semester to teach AUBIO 380, Biochemistry: Proteins, Enzymes and Energy. The Winter 11-week term runs from January 26 to April 17, 2026 with the class meeting Mondays and Fridays from 10:10-11:40 am.
Duties
- Deliver in-person lectures for AUBIO 380, ensuring course material is presented according to the required curriculum.
- Be available for student questions outside of the class.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in biochemistry or a related area.
- Demonstrated teaching excellence/potential at the post-secondary level.
- Individuals with a PhD with teaching experience are preferred.
