Position Summary

Are you a relationship builder with a passion for client satisfaction?  We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Client Engagement Specialist to join our dedicated Client Engagement team. Reporting to the Director of Client Engagement, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong, lasting relationships with our diverse client base, ensuring their needs are met, and contributing to the strategic success of the University.

Duties 

Relationship Builder

  • Build and maintain strong connections with clients across the University.
  • Work with other teams to find the best solutions for clients.
  • Lead and join client meetings to understand their needs

Championing Client Satisfaction

  • Gather invaluable client feedback to continuously enhance the overall client experience.

Driving Engagement Strategies

  • Identify opportunities to maximize the value of existing services and pinpoint areas for new service development.
  • Monitor and analyze key engagement metrics to refine and optimize strategies.

Communication

  • Maintain clear, consistent, and effective communication with clients across all channels
  • Support the development of engaging communication materials, presentations, and workshops for clients and colleagues

Optimizing Client Engagement Tracking & Communications

  • Utilize CRM systems and other tools to track client interactions and data, identifying gaps.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to continuously refine strategies and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Support the development of client engagement processes and meeting frequencies, sharing valuable findings with the team.
  • Triage incoming tickets and opportunity proposals, assigning them to the appropriate colleagues for review and assessment. 

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary diploma (required) or degree (preferred) in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience in marketing or managing client relationships
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Understanding of customer service principles.
  • Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
