This position is a part of the Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA).
This position has a term length of August 20, 2025 to May 2, 2026.
Location - The driving route for this role takes place between Camrose and Edmonton.

Working for Augustana Campus
The Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta is located on Treaty Six territory in the City of Camrose, 90 kilometres southeast of Edmonton. Embedded in rural Alberta, the campus is home to approximately 900 students and offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs offered by the U of A's Augustana Faculty and the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, respectively. Augustana Campus provides a distinctive learning experience characterized by close connections between students, staff and faculty and numerous opportunities for student participation in athletics, clubs and campus organizations.
The Administration - General department within the Augustana Faculty is committed to building on the faculty’s reputation for academic rigour, high-quality research and teaching in the tradition of the liberal arts and sciences, and extensive opportunities for students in the areas of Community-Service Learning, undergraduate research and international study.
Position
Provide safe transportation services for students and staff as the driver of the Augustana shuttle between Camrose and Edmonton. The Shuttle Driver operates a high quality transportation link between University of Alberta campuses in Edmonton and Camrose. This position will have variable hours, ranging from 0 to 24 hours per week depending on operational needs.
Duties
- Drive the Augustana shuttle (7 passenger van) three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
- Provide a safe and friendly trip between campuses.
- Keep safety records and identify vehicle maintenance issues.
- Provide basic information and general assistance to shuttle passengers.
- Provide charter transportation services to other Augustana units if needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- Clean driving record and Class 5 License.
- Five years of driving experience in a similar role.
- Standard First Aid and CPR.
- Current Criminal Record Check.
- Clean driving record and Class 4 License is an asset.
