Position Summary
Reporting to the manager, Enterprise Asset System, the Application and Database Analyst plays a key role in supporting the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications and databases. This role will work closely with analysts, stakeholders, and system users to build efficient, scalable, and secure solutions that drive business performance.
Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain Enterprise applications and data-driven systems
- Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures and ETL processes
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather and refine requirements
- Maintain and enhance data warehouse structures for performance and scalability
- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance standards are met
- Troubleshoot application and database issues, and recommend improvements
- Support Integration between enterprise systems (APIs, middleware, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in application development, database design and BI reporting
- Proficiency in C#, Java, Python
- Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Familiarity with modern frameworks (e.g. .NET, Node.js, etc)
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Working experiences in AiM, or any enterprise systems for Facilities and Operations
- Knowledge in Financial data analytics and business intelligence reporting
- Working experiences in Secondary Education institutions
