Description

This position is in-person and is located in Edmonton, Alberta at the Edmonton Clinic Health Academy and Kaye Edmonton Clinic.
The School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in the discipline of Periodontology. The position has an anticipated start date of July 1, 2024, and an expected end date of June 30, 2027.
Responsibilities during the academic year are primarily focused on clinical and didactic teaching at the graduate program level. Research time may be allocated based on the candidate’s research interest and experience. Time may also be allocated to private practice (if applicable).
Applicants will have:
- Graduated from an accredited DDS/DMD or equivalent program and have relevant postgraduate and clinical qualifications in the specialty of periodontology or an equivalent level as specified by the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC).
- A record of demonstrated teaching excellence and clinical skills in the area of periodontology.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Academic rank and salary will be based on the incumbent’s qualifications, experience, and achievements.
