The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is seeking an outstanding scholar for a full-time tenure-track position in the area of social and administrative sciences (i.e., health policy or health services research, health equity research, or pharmacy practice research).
Applicants should demonstrate the potential to achieve international recognition in emerging fields related to the area of social and administrative sciences. Successful candidates will be expected to develop an innovative and robust externally-funded research program, teach both graduate and undergraduate classes, and provide service to the Faculty and the University, as well as to professional and external communities.

Positions:
Situated on Treaty 6 territory, the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The higher rank will only be considered should the successful candidate possess an appropriate level of experience and commensurate achievements. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence, participate in teaching, conduct research and scholarly activities within their area of expertise, as well as contribute to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusivity at the university.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching (standard allocation of time is 40%). Participate in teaching in undergraduate and graduate programs, mentorship and supervision of undergraduate and graduate students.
Research (standard allocation of time is 40%). Lead a program of research, participate in multidisciplinary and collaborative research, attract external funding and disseminate results.
Service (standard allocation of time is 20%). Participate in service to the Faculty, University and community.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must hold a PhD or other terminal degree (e.g. PharmD) in a relevant field
- Post-doctoral experience is preferred
- Strong publication record
- Evidence of an identified research focus in one of the following areas:
- Health policy or health services research, health equity research, or pharmacy practice research (focus related to primary care preferable)
- Commitment to teaching excellence and supervision of undergraduate and graduate students
