ONCOL 356 - Treatment Planning and Dosimetry II
Use of computerized treatment planning systems to create radiation treatment plans for the oncology patient. Topics include: 3-D conformal, 4-D planning, intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT), protons, electrons, and brachytherapy. Trends and advances impacting medical dosimetry practice will be covered.
RADTH 360A - Clinical Simulation and Reasoning
Integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical performance in a simulated clinical setting. Students will demonstrate clinical reasoning and decision making in the simulated environment across several tumor sites. Students will also develop key attitudes, judgments and behaviours necessary for a practicing radiation therapist.
