About
Nagehan Yanar is PhD student and Teaching Assistant-Instructor of English at the University of Alberta. Prior to coming to Alberta, she was a Visiting Scholar at the Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and Humanities at Bard College. She has held Visiting Student positions at Columbia University, King’s College London, and Bogazici University.
BA, English, Kocaeli University (First in the Faculty, High Honors); MA, English, Yeditepe University (High Honors with the full scholarship).

ENGL 102 - Introduction to Critical Analysis
Introduces methods of critical analysis through a range of literature written in English, broadly conceived, from different historical periods and cultural locations. Note: Not to be taken by students with 6 units in approved junior English.
